Meeting Monday February 28th 2011 at 6:45pm
Join us at McNeal Hall, Room 110 for our 1st 2011 meeting. Chuck Avery will show some work, and we'll take a look at a documentary film featuring Russell Lee.

Next Meeting this Friday, 6-9pm
We (Peter Martin & Mike Zerby) will meet to look at videos, seeing each others work, discussing what the mood takes us to, “treasure hunt” the web, and in general talk about local events, issues and technology both old and new.
We have a venue on the University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus in McNeal Hall, Room 10, a space that can accommodate up to 40 persons. It is equipped with a huge screen, a fine data/video projector, a good sound system and free hi-speed internet. We could hook up any laptop, Mac or PC. Any type of image file, any program any DVD etc. even 8.5” X 11” prints can be projected and will look GREAT!

ANYONE might entertain or inform us by bringing a personal project of theirs, new or old, PLEASE MAKE A CONTRIBUTION!
One more gathering is scheduled for May 7.

Meeting: February 12th, 6-9pm

Tonight we'll view two films featuring the work of Paul Strand: “Manhatta,” 1921, and “The Plow That Broke The Plains,” Pare Lorentz, 1936.
After, we'll look at recent images from Haiti via AP and discuss the ethics of journalism during natural disasters.
Finally, we'll look at any current projects that you bring in, time permitting. Any suggestions for future programs will be welcomed as well.
